Terms of Participation:
For reasons of safety participants at CSI run events require a 0.00 BAC and all events are considered drug free. Any persons taking medication of any nature that may affect their mental alertness or clarity, or their vision, must report this prior to commencement of the event.
Media capturing in any format is not permitted during any part of the event. No part of the events listed above may be reproduced or used for any teaching or educational purpose without the express permission of Brad Griggs or Canine Services International.
No person participating in this course may disseminate or distribute in any way the information contained or presented during the event/s without the express written permission of Brad Griggs or Canine Services International.
The content shared during the event/s is proprietary in nature and remains the intellectual property of Brad Griggs and Canine Services International in perpetuity.
Participants will provide their own stationery and note taking equipment.
Physical Considerations:
This course varies in its physicality and should be considered broadly unsuitable for those with major disabilities unless by prior written agreement with CSI management.
Those with significant hearing difficulties must make this known to event staff for reasons of safety at least 3 business days prior to event commencement.
Those with physical limitations or pre-existing injuries must make this known to CSI Staff or Agents upon check-in, and should consider their condition before volunteering for any demonstrations or participating in physical activities associated with the event.
Please inform event staff upon arrival of any issue/s that may prevent you from being able or willing to participate in any element of the program.
Equipment:
Standard work attire worn during the execution of daily duties is strongly recommended for those attending K9 SPAHRS events. Clothing for wet or cold weather should be included in the participants load-out for the day.
If the participant’s work role involves use of specific equipment relating to dealing with dogs then they should attend with that equipment to facilitate your learning.
Participants are to attend with any dog bite prevention related resources your organisation issues for potential use in discussion during the event/s, including any relevant PPE that you are issued and employ as part of your duties.
Level 2 Certification:
Prerequisite requirements: Level 1 Certification within past 12 months is a prerequisite for participation in the Level 2 K9 SPAHRS certification.
Participants attending Level 2 Certification are expected to attend with the bite stick and all related accessories that they will be issued to use in their role.
CSI can provide assistance if you require Proof Of Training in order to complete the process of purchasing bite sticks from a lawful Supplier. If you wish to discuss this please be sure to make mention in the ‘Add a message to CSI’ section at the bottom of this form
All participants that carry dog deterrent spray must attend with at least one previously unused canister to be discharged under controlled conditions during Level 2 Certification, with two or more canisters per participant being preferable.
