Staying Safer: For Female Canine Professionals

TICKET SALES ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT

⚠️ This event is being run exclusively for women operating in the dog training industry, or an allied field. ⚠️

Overview: The dog training industry presents some very complex safety concerns for those operating in the field. This is particularly the case where operators conduct business in the homes of others and/or in public places, especially in out-of-hours scenarios.

Beyond the obvious considerations relating to the type of dogs that one may encounter, there is also the potential of human threat which must be accounted for.

This workshop is focused on the ‘nuts and bolts’ needed to operate as safely as possible in the dog training industry – whether you do in-home consults, train for a club, or do your own private consults.

This event will focus on 4 key areas:

✅ Pre-appointment

✅ Arrival

✅ Consult

✅ Departure

Regardless of your dog training politics, know that you are welcome to attend.
